Flydubai Name correction rules-
If a passenger wishes to correct the name on an existing ticket for a GDS booking (141/169/275/365- FZ standalone issued ticket), Name change/correction can be allowed under any of the following scenarios:
Notes:
· Not applicable for partially utilized tickets or reissued tickets
· Booking must be with pure FZ flights only
· The charges apply for Adult, Child & Infant (with a seat).
· For infants without a seat, a new ticket must be issued with the correct name as per the available fare in GDS. The old ticket can be refunded in accordance with the ticket fare policy.
For scenario 1 & 2, we can put a check-in remark on the PNR with the correction.
For scenarios 3 to 9, please follow below steps if you wish to proceed with the name change:
1. Send us the passport copies for validation. Ensure request pertains to the same passenger.
2. If name change is due to marriage, provide the marriage certificate original and in English.
3. Create a new booking in GDS with the correct name / spelling as per the passport name in same RBD.
4. If same RBD is not available, book on any future date in same RBD and we will confirm to the original flight.
5. The flight number, travel date, and routing must be identical on both the new and old bookings.
6. New ticket should be issued as per the current system guaranteed fare.
7. Once new ticket is issued, please raise a RA through BSP for the old ticket stating, ‘approved by FZ as per FZ name change policy’.
8. We will authorize refund on the old ticket with a penalty as applicable (non-refundable government tax cannot be claimed)
Name change on un-ticketed booking is also permitted. Follow steps 1 to 6.
Penalty shall be collected on the new PNR with the same charge mentioned as applicable.
